X Marks The Spot
How often have you or someone you know struggled with your scenes feeling bumpy or awkward or maybe just not as smooth as you would have liked? Most of us have experienced a time when you know what you want to do, but getting the scene started feels strange. Conversely, maybe you’ve experienced taking a scene to exactly where you wanted, but then struggled to find a way to end it well and just announcing “ta-da” doesn’t seem right. In this class Beast (he/him) and echo (she/her) share with you their method to mapping out a scene like telling a story. This method allows you to anticipate the bottoms reactions and responses, allowing you as a top to guide them through the physical, psychological, and emotional journey you have conceived for them. It also creates a better opportunity to build genuine connection and trust between players. While this interactive discussion-based class is presented primarily from a top’s perspective, bottoms are encouraged to attend as well.
What’s the Point?! Abandoning Tedious Negotiations
No more negotiating? Did we really just say that? Well not exactly. Consent is at the very heart of what we do in the dungeon, or the bedroom, or really anywhere. As such, there is no getting around the need to properly negotiate play. Just because it must be done though, doesn’t mean it must be boring. In this class, Beast (he/him) and echo (she/her) walk you through their approach to negotiation and give you an opportunity to test drive your new skills. By reframing your negotiations, you no longer have to view it as a chore to finish before the fun begins, and start seeing it as part of your scene.
